Human Fur

Bart Hess Workshop

During the MA studies at the Aalto University of Art, Design, and Architecture I have participated in the creative workshop called "Human Fur" curated by the dutch designer and artist Bart Hess. I had only three days and had to work individually. My main assignment was to create an animalistic skin for the human as a fashion installation. I had to use the material I can find within a short timeframe, and there were no limits in the ways how I could work with those materials. After deciding on the texture and making the pieces, I had to work directly on the human body to capture this new "skin" on camera. The outcome of this project I presented a collection of photographs representing my concept and understanding of the animalistic skin.
